How and why I changed the title of the blog - from HelloItaly to Ester&Spice
By Ester - 01:53
Hello, my friends!
I know this post is long overdue but believe me, February and March have not been too kind to me.
But the prospect of the return of Springtime makes me so happy!!
But let's talk about the cute elephant in the room: the title of this blog. You might have noticed a not-so-subtle change both in the title and the Url and you might wonder why, well... When I first started this blog I really wanted to focus on all things italian so I thought: why not put it in the title? So the best name I could come up with was "Hello Italy". Only a couple of months later I found out that the same name was already used for a travel agency of some sort and that was causing a lot of problems both for people who were looking for my blog and for my little brain, because I felt I created something that wasn't original enough.
So, after weeks of creative brainstorming, I decided that the best way to convey my point of view about Italy and its culture, art, food and everything I talk about in my blog is to start from me.
From my personal experience as Ester, and as an italian foodie and traveler.
So, that's when Ester & Spice came up, for a variety of reasons: first of all, I love spices and I never cook without using at least three or four different ones.
And also... I'm from Calabria (a southern region) which is famous for the spiciness of its food and its people. Yes, I am spicy and I'm here to keep blogging about the things I am passionate about.
Before I leave you, I need to give a big shoutout to my lovely friend who created the new header for the blog, Lemon Bun - Letizia Pavese Illustrazioni, you did a great job!

I wish you a beautiful day, see you in the next post!
